Personal Professional Blogging
I read a blog post at 2WAHMs that posed the question – “Can you be too professional?” Kara is referring an unsolicited link exchange request she received the other day. I won’t go into detail here about that post – you can read the post and comment conversation for yourself – after you are done reading here, of course. 
It got me thinking though, about this blog and how I want to present it. The “impression” I want to make here. Can’t remember where I was talking/chatting about this, but recently there was a discussion about our “WAHM blogs” and whether we have personal stuff on them. No – nothing too personal – more like what I call “self-disclosure”.
I want to mix it up with this WAHM blog – give my visitors a little of both. I have always gravitated towards blogs that give me at least a little of the author’s personality. And after-all this is MY WAHM blog – so there is going to be an occasional glimpse at the Mom-side of things. I’ll post occasional announcements about my other businesses – promoting the products I use and love! AND of course there will be articles, reviews and resources that I have found helpful.
So call My WAHM Blog a personal professional blog.

This is something that I love about blogging…being able to change my site’s appearance on a whim! I have websites that I’ve built from scratch, and thankfully I know how to make quick changes to color schemes and fonts, etc. with my css (cascading style sheet) on each of them. I have seen this quote before, and even though I’ve already left it in my blog at My WAHM Space, I thought it would be a good one to post here as well. You’ll see me do this from time to time, cause sometimes I find that someone else can say it better than I can! LOL!
